Enjoying my last weekend with friends and family...

It's hard to believe that in 24 hours I will be in Copenhagen, Denmark for my first day of orientation. This past weekend was spent enjoying time with friends and family for the last time until Christmas break. I was fortunate enough to see my mother's side at my Grandpa and Grandma Sentman's 50th Wedding Anniversary, and most of my father's side at Laura and Phil Lockwood's wedding. These are some of the pictures from the event.

Off to bed! Long day in the air tomorrow!

Embarking on a new adventure...

Dear Family and Friends,

Over the next few months I will be studying at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, School of Architecture (www.karch.dk/uk) with my main area of study in Department 1: Architecture, City and Landscape. I am looking forward to this adventure and time to further explore the profession of landscape architecture.

That being said, I have not left enough time between my internship in New York at Michael Van Valkenburgh Associates, Inc. (www.mvvainc.com) my camping trip with Erica in the Rocky Mountains, and my flight off to Denmark in less than a week! I depart on Sunday, 30 August 2010 and start classes on 1 September 2010. This one is pushing it for sure...

I hope you enjoy my journey in Denmark and the other places I visit. I am planning other trips to Germany to visit ancestors, Egypt, and London when time permits.
